Day of Caring
United Way Estevan mobilizes community members to volunteer their time to complete meaningful, hands-on projects for individuals and non-profit groups who need the help. Projects that are suitable are those that can be completed in a half day or one day and could include such things as painting, clean up, and landscaping.
We will strive to match up anyone needing some assistance with volunteers in our community. All that needs to be provided are the materials for the task.
Have a Project?
If you have a project that needs support and aligns with the values of community improvement, consider submitting it for the United Way Estevan’s Day of Caring. This annual event mobilizes volunteers to assist with various community projects that might otherwise go uncompleted.

Want to get your school involved?
The annual United Way Day of Caring is a day set aside to focus on helping others and working together to make our community a better place. We would like to encourage schools to take part in the Day of Caring, either on May 28th or a day that works better for your school. We strongly believe that volunteering in our community does as much for volunteers as it does for those that we serve. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about their community, learn about volunteering in their community, and reap the benefits of being a volunteer. Please let us know if your school takes part in any projects, so that we can recognize the efforts of the students and staff.
