The Estevan United Way Telethon is one of our community’s most treasured traditions, and on October 16 & 17, 2026, Estevan and the surrounding area came together once again for 33 hours of fundraising, entertainment and community spirit.

This year marked an incredible milestone: our 50th anniversary. For five decades, this event has showcased the generosity, compassion and dedication that make our community so special, raising vital funds for United Way Estevan’s member agencies and the programs and services they provide.

Throughout the 33 hours, we celebrated both the future and the remarkable history behind the event, recognizing past board members, staff, volunteers and entertainers who have helped shape the Telethon over the years, and sharing memories, stories and special moments from its five-decade history.

Viewers tuned in for live entertainment, community appearances, special presentations and countless ways to get involved, and the response was unforgettable. Thanks to this community’s generosity, our 50th Annual Telethon raised an incredible $500,000, surpassing last year’s total of $415,149 and marking the most successful Telethon in our history.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, performed, phoned in or tuned in, thank you. The Estevan United Way Telethon is more than a fundraiser. It is a celebration of community, generosity and the lasting impact we can create together, and we can’t wait to keep that tradition going for 50 more years.
